Basque cheesecakes differ from other cheesecakes because they are baked at high temperatures to intentionally achieve a caramelized top and creamy interior.

This 6 inch Matcha & Lemon Basque cheesecake is a welcomed treat to celebrate spring. It features a lemony shortbread cookie crust topped with whipped cream, toasted coconut flakes, and dark chocolate candied almonds*. The cheesecakes are lightly sweetened and made with gluten free** ingredients.

Ingredients: Cream Cheese, Heavy Cream, Egg, King Arthur Gluten-Free Flour, Butter, Lemon, Matcha, Shredded Coconut, Candied Dark Chocolate Almond, Cornstarch, Rice Flour, Salt.

*The dark chocolate candied almonds (and coconut) can be left off in the event of a tree nut allergy. Please specify in your order notes if you would like this modification.
